Camilla, St Andrews

I dropped-in on Camilla, next to where she was sitting on a low wall clipping her finger nails.  I thought she had a very interesting look and so while she groomed herself, I took these pictures.

As a new arrival in town, Camilla found St Andrews to be everything it was meant to be.  We chatted while she tended to her nails, lifting her head momentarily and this is what I captured.

“…the ponderous depth of her look[ing], that mysteriously myth-making window between you and her, through which you’re never quite sure you see, and through which one wonders just what she sees from on the other side of those eyes. She has an interesting look, indeed, upon the world…”

  4. She is absolutely beautiful. You take gorgeous photographs!

  5. The third is my preferred in this set. Because the interest of her look there is more like the characteristic Camilla whom I’ve come to know and love: the ponderous depth of her look[ing], that mysteriously myth-making window between you and her, through which you’re never quite sure you see, and through which one wonders just what she sees from on the other side of those eyes. She has an interesting look, indeed, upon the world…

  6. Thank you, I always thought something further was needed to close the set.

  7. Wow, these are beautiful portraits. Even in the first one where she is looking away, it’s very captivating.
